McDonald's - The Saweetie Meal

In 2020, McDonald’s started putting “famous orders” on the menu with The Travis Scott Meal. Eight more men later, they decided it was time for a famous female fan to receive this honor. Enter Saweetie: rapper, McDonald’s lover, and savant for combining foods in creative (and often questionable) ways.
We launched The Saweetie Meal with a film showing a few ways to eat like Saweetie, directed by the amazing Hannah Lux Davis.

The limited-time meal came with unique packaging that I’ve designed, including Saweetie ’n Sour Sauce and a bag stuffer to show people instructions of how to eat the meal.

Throughout the whole month of the campaign, we made around a billion of posts to keep people excited about the meal, always injecting some of our bling-cotton candy world to it.

The spot featured a custom bag designed by Brandon Blackwood, a fashion designer currently blowing up. Only three were made - one for Saweetie, and two we gave away to fans.

Judging by the amount of memes that were made about it, it seems like The Saweetie Meal was a success.
